Contemplation

Experiencing and engaging the extravagant love of Jesus is at the heart of all ReStoried offerings. Our team brings their expertise in Christian contemplative practices into all sessions and events.  Tools such as Centering Prayer, Lectio Divina, Visio Divina, Silence, and Solitude are offered to clients and participants to support their healing and growth. Women are invited to join The Breathing Room, Elizabeth’s online contemplative community. Men are invited to join Joey for a men’s weekly book study. Creativity

Music, story, and art are integrated into the ReStoried community and its experiences. Goodness, beauty and truth are highlighted through creative offerings to bring healing and wholeness to our clients and participants. Additionally, retreats and events are held throughout the year to cultivate creativity within our community.

Creation

We offer opportunities for couples, families, and individuals to experience God’s creation together.  ReStoried believes what Meister Eckhart said to be true, that “nature seeks, hunts, tries to ferret out the track on which God may be found.” For this reason, we integrate outdoor activities into many of our retreats and intensives.

Our 20+ years of marriage have included plenty of heart break and disappointment – addiction, chronic illness, fractured families, loss of loved ones. Maybe these are parts of your story too, or maybe something else has led to ruptures in your relationships.  Thankfully, that’s not what has defined our lives.  Years of healing have led us to a new and better story.  This is what we offer you – a chance to be not only restored, but re-storied, woven into God’s greater story full of goodness, beauty, and truth.
